Everyone knows Martyn and Micky Pressure are making waves on the fringes of Dubstep with their labels 3024 and Naked Lunch.

These guys were part of the 10–years-running Red Zone drum & bass crew in Effenaar, Netherlands, alongside Fragment (Micky’s partner in Naked Lunch), Nymfo (who’s still keeping the BPMs high), Erosie (artist and Martyn’s partner in 3024), and probably some other way talented people who the world is gonna find out about sometime.

Back in 2007 Martyn sent us some mixes showing his take on techno. His mix is from the archive. I don’t think Micky’s was ever on here, but it’s good… enjoy!

The ever inconsistent Lower Depths is back with it’s second post in as many days.  We tried to hold back on this one but it’s too good.

Righto, about time for a new live set!
I recorded this at the ‘10 years of Poker Flat’ party at the excellent Watergate club in Berlin in April. It was a pretty special night, one of those times when all the artists were absolutely on form, and the crowd was certainly along for the ride too.
I’m really glad I ended up hitting record on this one, as I was really happy when hearing it back. With live sets every gig you play is always a little more enjoyable artistically than the last as you get a little tighter each time, but it was also fun this time to play some new tracks and is a great reminder for me of a fantastic night.

This is a recording from the best techno gig I’ve ever been to.

I still remember the smoke, the laser, the small room (Cactus Jacks or whatever it was called), and Richie going nuts using some crazy new Pioneer mixer effects.

Nice one Sander for the hookup a couple of years back.  It was pretty surreal listening to it again 10 years later.  I put this online for about a week for a local forum, word got out, and it killed my server.  Might as well try it again.

Finally, nice one Coda and all his crew for making Wellington such a rad place to live in the late 90s.
