Good Radio - Ruffage Sessions on Sub FM
Wednesday, April 15th, 2009For those of you who still listen to radio the best show on the planet right now is Ruffage Sessions on Sub FM. Ruffage Sessions is run by the same guys who run the left of left dubstep label Hessle Audio: Ben UFO, Pangaea, and Ramadanman.
If you know Hessle Audio at all you’d know what to expect. Not all dubstep by a long shot, the Ruffage Sessions isn’t afraid of genre or tempo boundaries. You’ll catch them mixing up deep techno, house, garage, drum & bass, whatever in the mix. As long as it’s good.
Check out the archive for more sets than you have time to listen to. The tracklists are around somewhere too, I’ll update this as soon as I find out where they live (I’m trying to find the tracklist for Ben UFO vs Bok Bok in November last year).
If you’ve been to Lower Depths before you’d know we’ve hosted a bunch of mixes from Ben UFO in the past (his mix for FACT Magazine is still here). But nothing is as cool as hearing this stuff live on the radio.
Tune in Thursday nights 8-10pm UK time. Not that you’ll care but that’s currently 7-9am Friday for me since Lower Depths lives in the future.
Finally, if you’re in London on the 15 May there’s no excuse to miss these guys at Fabric.
